Hello and welcome! Today I’d like to share a card I created for a Clean & Simple Sketch Challenge. You can find out more about these challenges here – you can view the other entries or take part yourself. The sketch for the challenge is shown below.
I decided on a simple colour scheme of Very Vanilla and Petal Pink, and used a combination of different products.
Let’s make it…
The card base is created from Very Vanilla Thick cardstock and this is followed by a slightly smaller layer of Very Vanilla cardstock. Instead of using two different patterned papers or colours of cardstock to split the background, as indicated in the sketch, I decided to use a die cut. I used one of the Ornate Borders Dies to cut out a piece of Petal Pink cardstock and adhered this to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
For the angled panel I used the Stitched So Sweetly Dies and cut one piece of Very Vanilla cardstock and one piece of the Petal Pink DSP, layered them together and adhered them to the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
To decorate the panel, I cut the three single flowers from the Ornate Borders Dies, layered them together and added a Petal Pink Basic Adhesive-Backed Sequin.
The final touch was the sentiment, from the Ornate Thanks Stamp Set, which is stamped directly onto the card front in Petal Pink ink.
I hope the like my project! If you have any questions or comments please leave them below or email me at email@example.com
