Let’s Make It…

I have used one of the Stampin’ Up! Notecards & Envelopes because the card will be going inside one of the Mini Paper Pumpkin boxes with another gift.

Trim a piece of Brushed Metallic Cardstock (Gold) to 8.2 x 11.6 cm. Follow this with a layer of the Gilded Autumn Speciality Designer Series Paper (DSP) cut to 7.7 x 11 cm.

Stamp the sentiment in Mint Macaron ink onto Whisper White cardstock and cut out using the Stitched Rectangle Dies. The sentiment I have used is from the Pallet Thoughts Stamp Set. Use the same die to cut a piece of the Brushed Metallic Cardstock. Adhere them together as shown in the image. Cut a length of the Mint Macaron Basket Weave Ribbon, double it over and adhere to the back of the sentiment piece using Tear & Tape. Adhere the sentiment to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Use the Foam Adhesive Sheets and the Playful Alphabet Dies to cut the required letters from Mint Macaron Cardstock. Adhere these to the card front.

Finish off with a few Gilded Gems.

I have included images of the card before adding the personalisation and gems because I think it would make a beautiful alternative card!

SU Stitched Stars Birthday Card

Hello and welcome! I’ve got a fun, bright, cheerful card for you today – just what we need right now! This is a card I created for a Colour INKspiration colour challenge. You can find out more about these challenges on the Facebook page. The colour combination for the challenge was: Daffodil Delight, Call Me Clover, Gorgeous Grape, Melon Mambo and Mango Melody – wow!

I decided to use the Stampin’ Up! Stitched Stars Dies and Label Me Bold Stamp Set.

If you would prefer to watch me make the card simply scroll to the end of this blog post where you can watch my video tutorial.

Let’s make it…

The card base is created from Mango Melody cardstock and this is followed by a layer of Melon Mambo cardstock and a layer of Whisper White cardstock.

The Stitched Stars Dies are used to cut out a piece of cardstock in each of the challenge colours – Daffodil Delight, Call Me Clover, Gorgeous Grape, Melon Mambo and Mango Melody. These are all adhered to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

The ‘Happy Birthday’ sentiment from the Label Me Bold Stamp Set is stamped three times onto Whisper White cardstock in Memento Tuxedo Black ink. The sentiments are cut out using Paper Snips and adhered to three of the stars using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

What do you think? It’s a great colour combination, isn’t it?! If you have any questions or comments please leave them below or email me at helen@papercraftlife.com

See A Silhouette Card

Hello and welcome to my blog! Today I would like to share with you a card I created for a Sketch Challenge. The sketch is shown below. If you would like to find out more about these challenges, see the other entries or join in, you can visit the CAS(E) this Sketch website here.

I decided to use the Stampin’ Up! See A Silhouette Designer Series Paper (DSP) and the Label Me Bold Stamp Set. Here is my project…

Let’s make it…

The card base is created from Whisper White Thick cardstock. This is followed by a slightly smaller layer of Poppy Parade cardstock and a smaller again layer of the See A Silhouette DSP.

I have cut two pieces of the DSP using the Stitched Rectangle Dies and these are adhered to the left hand side of the card using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

The sentiment is stamped in Versamark ink and heat embossed using White Stampin’ Emboss Powder. I have also heat embossed a few of the pattern stamps from the same stamp set. The sentiment piece is cut out using the Stitched Rectangle Dies and adhered to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

This is such a quick and simple card to create but the bright colours of the See A Silhouette DSP really give it a fun and cheerful feel.

Well Dressed Card

Stamp Sets with traditionally masculine images are always popular and Well Dressed has been no different. This set is available to earn for FREE, with a qualifying spend, until 31st March 2020. Don’t miss out – this is a stamp set you’ll get out again and again.

If you’d like to watch me create this card (and maybe craft along), you can find the YouTube link at the end of this blog post.

Let’s make it…

The card base is created from Whisper White Thick cardstock and this is followed by a layer of Country Club DSP. The tie image is stamped in Night of Navy ink onto Whisper White cardstock. To achieve this repeated stamping, I used the Stampin’ Up! Stamparatus which allows a hinge-step technique.

The Stamparatus is a fabulous stamping platform which is great for those who struggle to achieve consistent results when stamping as well as enabling techniques such as this.

The sentiment is from the Itty Bitty Greetings stamp set and is stamped in Night of Navy ink onto Whisper White cardstock. This is cut out using one of the Stitched Rectangles dies. A larger piece of Garden Green cardstock has also been cut out with one of the Stitched Rectangle dies and helps the colours in the DSP stand out. The sentiment piece is adhered to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I hope you have enjoyed this blog post. Don’t forget to check out the Well Dressed stamp set while you can!
