Stampin’ Up! Frosted Foliage Card

Stampin’ Up! Frosted Foliage Card

Hello and welcome to the first instalment of my November Stamp Set Showcase. This month I will be featuring the Stampin’ Up! Frosted Foliage Stamp Set. This is a gorgeous stamp set which includes foliage, sentiments and the fabulous snowflake cluster which I have used on today’s card.

Let’s make it…

Stampin’ Up! Frosted Foliage Card

The card base is created from Whisper White Thick cardstock. I have then cut a slightly smaller piece of Whisper White cardstock to create the main card front. The snowflake cluster image has been stamped a number of times in Night of Navy ink. For the next stage I created a mask. To do this I cut a number of circles from a piece of Whisper White cardstock and placed this over the card front. You can either use Layering Circles dies or a variety of Circle Punches to do this. I then used a brayer to apply Seaside Spray ink through the mask.

To the top and bottom of the card front a have adhered strips of Night of Navy DSP. I think this particular DSP is perfect for Christmas cards because it reminds me of baubles!

The sentiment is heat embossed in White Stampin’ Emboss Powder onto Night of Navy cardstock and cut out using one of the Stitched Rectangles dies. This is attached to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. This is such a lovely sentiment, isn’t it? What more could we hope for over the festive period? The final touch is provided by the addition of a number of Snowflake Sequins.

Next time…
