Brightly Gleaming Place Settings

We like to make our guests feel special at Christmas and that was the inspiration behind this project. Add a personal, handmade touch to your Christmas table this year with these gorgeous place settings using the Stitched Stars dies from the bundle!

Hello, and welcome, to part 3 of my Stampin’ Up! So Many Stars bundle showcase. If you miss the previous posts you can find them here and here. Having already shown you a card and a gift tag, I wanted to create a home décor piece for this week’s blog and decided upon a festive table place setting.

Let’s make it…

I started off with an empty (clean!) coffee jar but you could work with whatever you have. I’m sure even a tin can would look great once decorated. The band around the middle of the jar is from the Stampin’ Up! Brightly Gleaming Speciality DSP and is adhered to the jar using Tear & Tape.

The three largest stars from the Stitched Stars die set are cut out of Pretty Peacock (1st and 3rd) and Copper Foil Sheets (2nd). I have stamped the names in Pretty Peacock ink onto Very Vanilla cardstock and decorated with a small Copper Foil Sheet die cut star. The stamp set that I used has now retired but you could use any small alphabet stamps that you have or the Make A Difference set would be perfect. Simply adhere the name piece onto the stars and then onto the jar and all that remains is to fill the jar with a napkin and cutlery (and maybe a little treat?). Your guests will know that you have put time, effort and thought into, not only the meal but the table setting as well!

I hope you have enjoyed this blog post. If you would like to purchase any of the items used in this project (or any other Stampin’ Up! products) simply click one of the links below and you’ll head straight to my online shop.
