Bloom and Grow part 3

Welcome back to my Stampin’ Up! Bloom and Grow Stamp Set Showcase. I have another simple but effective card for you today to prove that this stamp set is great for those of you who haven’t learned to love colouring just yet! You can find more inspiration for this stamp set on these previous blog posts: part 1 and part 2.

The Basics!

The card base is created from Whisper White thick cardstock. There is also a smaller Whisper White layer which I have stamped using one of the beautiful floral images in Basic Grey ink. This is such a simple way to create your own backgrounds.

Elegant Combinations!

A strip of Rose Glimmer Paper has been adhered to the bottom of the card creating such an elegant colour combination. A circle of the Glimmer Paper has also been cut out using the 2.25″ Circle Punch. The sentiment is stamped in Basic Grey, cut out using the Starburst Punch and adhered to leave a gorgeous little flash of Rose sparkle behind. The sentiment piece is adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals and a length of Rose Metallic Thread provides the final touch.
