The project I want to share with you today features the So Very Vellum DSP in Purple Posy. This card has a lovely shabby chic layered feel which makes it so tactile and beautiful.

Let’s make it…

The card base is created from Whisper White Thick cardstock. This is followed by a layer of the Purple Posy So Very Vellum DSP. This is adhered to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Be careful to place the glue in areas that will be covered up on your final card as it will show through the vellum. I have then torn the edges of a piece of Crumb Cake cardstock and further ‘distressed’ it by screwing it up and straightening out again. This layer is adhered at an angle to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I have then used Tear & Tape to adhere lengths of Purple Posy Scalloped Linen Ribbon and Whisper White Flax Ribbon. A piece of the vellum is cut out using one of the Stitched Label Dies and adhered on top of the ribbon. This is followed by a length of Linen Thread.

The sentiment is from the Sale-A-Bration Sending You Thoughts stamp set and is stamped in Crumb Cake ink onto Whisper White cardstock. This is cut out using another of the Stitched Label Dies and adhered to the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals. Final touches are provided by Gold Metallic Pearls and Purple Posy Faceted Dots.
