Jar of Flowers Bundle

Stampin' Up! Jar of Flowers Bundle Card by Helen Chapman Handmade Crafts

Hello and welcome! I recently introduced you to the Stampin’ Up! Jar of Flowers Stamp Set. If you missed that post you can find it here. Today I’d like to share a card that adds in the coordinating Jar Punch. Purchasing the Jar of Flowers Bundle means you get 10% off the combined price of the Stamp Set and Punch.

If you would prefer to watch me create the card, simply scroll to the end of this blog post where you can watch my video tutorial.

In my project I decided to use the punch to cut a piece of Vellum cardstock which I think gives a lovely frosted glass look to the jar.

Let’s make it…

The (standard A6) card base is created from Grey Granite cardstock and this is followed by a layer of Gorgeous Grape cardstock measuring 10 x 14.4 cm. The main card front is a 9.5 x 13.9 cm piece of Whisper White cardstock.

The jar image is stamped in Grey Granite ink and the ‘water’ is added in Coastal Cabana ink. This is a ‘reversible’ stamp set so the ‘water’ is added using the back of the back of the small jar image – it’s so clever!

The stems and flowers are stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and coloured using the Old Olive and Highland Heather Stampin’ Blends.

The jar is punched out of Vellum cardstock and adhered using a small strip of Tear & Tape – make sure to place the Tear & Tape such that it will be covered by the ribbon. A length of Old Olive ribbon from the Ornate Garden Ribbon combo Pack is adhered to the jar using another small strip of Tear & Tape.

The sentiment is created using the Well Written dies and I have cut the word ‘friend’ out of Coastal Cabana and Gorgeous Grape cardstock – I used the Adhesive Sheets. They are offset slightly and the adhered together and then to the card front.

What do you think?

I hope you have enjoyed seeing the Stampin’ Up! Jar of Flowers Bundle! If so, just wait until next time when we’ll also introduce the Shaker Domes – they’re so cute!
