Stampin' Up! In Good Taste / Tasteful Touches Card by Helen Chapman Handmade Crafts

Hello and welcome to the 3rd instalment of my Stampin’ Up! In Good Taste Suite Showcase. If you have missed the previous two blog posts you can find them here… Part 1 and Part 2. Today I would like to share with you my In Good Taste Card which uses most of the products in the Suite.

Let’s make it…

The (standard A6) card base is created from Grey Granite cardstock. This is followed by a 10 x 14.4 cm layer of the In Good Taste Designer Series Paper (DSP) which has been embossed using the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder. The folder is fabulous – it gives a realistic textile feel to DSP or cardstock and is perfect matched with this gorgeous DSP.

The feathers are stamped in Early Espresso ink onto Grey Granite cardstock and fussy-cut with Paper Snips. The large label is cut out of Early Espresso cardstock using the Tasteful Labels Dies.

The sentiment is stamped in Early Espresso ink onto Grey Granite cardstock and cut out using another of the Tasteful Labels Dies. The small banner from this die set is also used to cut out a piece of Seaside Spray cardstock which is then snipped into two.

All of these elements are layered together using Multipurpose Liquid Glue and then adhered to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

The final touch is provided by lengths of Seaside Spray Metallic Ribbon and Grey Granite Shimmer Ribbon which are stapled to the card front.

What do you think to my In Good Taste Card?

I really like the little hints of Seaside Spray against the Grey Granite and Early Espresso on this card. I hope you like my In Good Taste Card too and are enjoying my In Good Taste Suite Showcase. Join me next week for the next instalment.

In 2018, I also became an Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator which allows me to share my passion for papercraft with others via workshops and other events.
