Stampin' Up! Darling Donkeys gift tags by Helen Chapman Handmade Crafts

Hello and welcome! Today I am sharing my first proper sneak peek of the products in the upcoming Stampin’ Up! catalogues. January sees the start of both the 2021 January – June Mini and Sale-A-Bration catalogues. Today’s projects use a new stamp set from the Sale-A-Bration catalogue, which means you can earn it for FREE with a qualifying purchase! FREE donkeys!

Let’s make it… Darling Donkeys Gift Tags

All three of the tags are created in the same way but using a different colour scheme.

Start by creating the basic tag shapes. Trim a piece of Whisper White Thick cardstock to 5 x 10 cm. Use the Scalloped Tag Topper and Detailed Trio Punches to create the shape.

Stamp the donkey image from the Darling Donkeys Stamp Set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink. Colour the donkey using Stampin’ Blends (I used a combination of the Crumb Cake, Smoky Slate and Grey Granite Combos, plus Shaded Spruce and Rococo Rose for the flower).

Stamp the sentiment at the base of the tag. All of the sentiments I have used are included in the Darling Donkeys Stamp Set. I used Just Jade, Magenta Madness and Misty Moonlight inks.

Embellish the tags using the 2020-2022 In Colour Enamel Dots and add coordinating ribbon to finish.

Aren’t these just so cute?! They are so simple to colour too – great for beginners or experienced colourists!
