Birthday Bonanza Gift Tag

Welcome to Part 1 of my Stampin’ Up! Birthday Bonanza Suite Showcase! There is a slight change of plan this week as the Bonanza Buddies Stamp Set was on backorder and hasn’t arrived in time for the blog! However, I do have the Bonanza Dies and the Birthday Bonanza DSP so I designed a project using these. I hope you like it!

Let’s make it…

Start by cutting three of the tag shapes – two from Bermuda Bay cardstock, and one from the Birthday Bonanza DSP. Adhere the DSP tag to one of the Bermuda Bay cardstock tags to reinforce it. Next, cut a window out of the remaining Bermuda Bay cardstock tags using the Stitched Rectangles dies.

Cut the two banners from Birthday Bonanza DSP and adhere to the Bermuda Bay tag so that they cross the ‘window’. Trim so that you only have small ‘tails’ extending beyond the tag. Adhere this tag to your DSP tag using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Colour a length (approx. 20cm) of Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon using the Mango Melody Dark Stampin’ Blend. Thread this through the hole in the top of the tag. Finally, tie a length (approx. 15cm) of Whisper White Bakers twine around the ribbon for extra decoration and to stop it coming loose.
