CAS Challenge #339

Today I’d like to share with you a card I created for the CAS Colours and Sketches Challenge #339. You can find details of the challenge and view the Design Team entries and more here. Why not pop by and take a look once you’ve finished here?

This week is a Colour Challenge featuring Terracotta Tile, So Saffron and Pretty Peacock. I hope you like what I’ve done with this combination.

Let’s make it…

The card base is created from Pretty Peacock cardstock and I have layered a piece of Pretty Peacock DSP. This DSP is gorgeous and is available in all the Stampin’ Up! colours! In case you can’t quite read it from the picture, it says ‘Inspire. Create. Share. Ink. Stamp. Repeat.’ My thoughts exactly!

I have then used the Stampin’ Up! Stitched All Around stamp set and coordinating Stitched Labels dies to stamp, cut out and layer my sentiment piece in the challenge colours. As per the challenge rules I have included a small piece of Whisper White cardstock to help the sentiment to stand out.

The small heart from the die set has been cut out in So Saffron and Terracotta Tile cardstock and Pretty Peacock DSP and adhered using Stampin’ Dimensionals. The final touch is provided by small pieces of Pretty Peacock and Terracotta Tile Scalloped Linen Ribbon.
