Make A Beautiful ‘Jar of Flowers’ Shaker Card with Personalisation

Hello and welcome! Today I’d like to share with you a great way of personalising your Stampin’ Up! Jar of Flowers cards by putting the person’s initial in the Shaker Dome! This personalised Mason Jar Shaker card was made for my Grandma to give to my Mam for her birthday…

Let’s Make This Personalised Mason Jar Shaker Card…

Start with a (standard A6) Magenta Madness card base. Next cut a layer of Whisper White cardstock measuring 10 x 14.4 cm. Use the Jar Punch to cut an aperture into the layer. I used a pencil to mark the 5cm point across the cardstock in a couple of places and pushed the Whisper White as far as possible into the punch.

Stamp the flower image in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colour using Stampin’ Blends Markers. I have used Magenta Madness, Just Jade, Highland Heather and Daffodil Delight.

Stamp the ‘Happy Birthday’ sentiment in Memento Tuxedo Black ink into the top corner of the card front. I used the sentiment from the Family Party Stamp Set. Stamp the second part of the sentiment onto a piece of Whisper White cardstock – I used ‘To a wonderful Daughter’ from the same stamp set. Cut this out using the Stitched Rectangle Dies. Adhere to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Stick the Mason Jar Shaker Dome to the Whisper White cardstock layer such that the dome fits into the aperture. Cut the person’s initial out of coordinating cardstock using the Playful Alphabet Dies. I have used Magenta Madness, Just Jade, Highland Heather and Daffodil Delight to tie in with my colouring. Pop the letters into the dome and carefully adhere the card front and dome to the card base.

Apply a few 2020-2022 In Colour Enamel Dots for the finishing touch.

What do you think to my Personalised Mason Jar Shaker Card?

I hope you like my Personalised Mason Jar Shaker Card. This card would look great in so many different colour combinations. I hope this gives you a few ideas about using Shaker Domes in different ways.

Customer Thank You Cards with Beautiful Butterfly Gala!

Hello and welcome! Today I’d like to share with you my July Customer Thank You Cards. These were sent out to everyone who placed an online order using my July Host Code. I decided to use the Stampin’ Up! Butterfly Gala Stamp Set because of the gorgeous images and fabulous ‘Thank You So Very Much’ sentiment.

Let’s Make It…

Start with one of the Whisper White Note Cards and stamp the sentiment, in the bottom left corner, in Memento Tuxedo Black ink.

Stamp the double butterfly outline image such that it goes off the edge of the note card (also using Memento Tuxedo Black ink). Also stamp the bodies and antennae.

Use the infill stamps to colour the butterflies – I have used Blushing Bride and Petal Pink on the small butterfly and Soft Sea Foam and Mint Macaron on the larger butterfly.

What do you think to my July Customer Thank You Cards?

I hope you like my July Customer Thank You Cards. They are quick and simple to make but I really think that the two-tone butterflies look gorgeous and the sentiment is perfect!

Changing Leaves with Beautiful Autumn

Hello and welcome to Part 2 of my Stampin’ Up! Gilded Autumn Suite Showcase. If you missed Part 1 you can find it here. This week I’m paring it back a bit with this gorgeous, clean and simple card that I’ve called Changing Leaves with Beautiful Autumn…

Changing Leaves with Stampin' Up! Beautiful Autumn Bundle - card by Helen Chapman Handmade Crafts

Let’s Make It…

Create a (standard A6) card base from Very Vanilla Thick cardstock. Follow this with a layer of Early Espresso cardstock measuring 10 x 14.4 cm. Create your main card front with a 9.5 x 13.9 cm layer of Very Vanilla cardstock.

Punch out the leaves from Early Espresso, Cherry Cobbler, Cajun Craze, Pumpkin Pie and Crushed Curry cardstock. Adhere these to the right hand edge of the card front.

Stamp the ‘hey there’ sentiment in Early Espresso ink onto Very Vanilla cardstock. Cut out the sentiment using the banner die from the Tasteful Labels Dies. Cut another banner from Copper Brushed Metallic cardstock and adhere the banners together with an offset.

Adhere the sentiment to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

What do you think to my Changing Leaves with Beautiful Autumn Card?

I hope you like my Changing Leaves with Beautiful Autumn Card. I love this combination of earthy colours with the hint of metallic cardstock. I think Very Vanilla works really well with these colours and is definitely my go-to card base / card front when using these tones.

In Good Taste Treat Cup

Hello and welcome! Today I’d like to share with you my Stampin’ Up! In Good Taste Treat Cup! These Mini Coffee Cups are part of the Heartwarming Hugs Suite but it feels a little soon for Christmas themed projects so I’ve used them with the In Good Taste Suite to create a gift holder that can be used all year round. The Stamp Set and Dies form the Warm Hugs Bundle which is also part of the Suite.

Let’s Make It…

Use the Warm Wraps Dies (part of the Warm Hugs Bundle) to cut out the two sections of the wrap from the In Good Taste Designer Series Paper (DSP). Apply Tear & Tape to the tabs and adhere to form one piece. Insert the cup into the wrap and adhere if required.

Wrap a length of Petal Pink Organdy Striped Ribbon around the cup and tie in a bow at the top. Tie a length of Night of Navy Ribbon (for the Playing With Patterns Ribbon Combo Pack) to the bow and allow the tails to trail down the cup.

Stamp the ‘for you’ sentiment onto Petal Pink cardstock in Night of Navy ink and cut out using the coordinating ‘ring’ die. Use the larger circle die to cut out a piece of the DSP.

Adhere to of the small leaves from the In Good Taste Elements to the back of the ring of Petal Pink cardstock. Adhere to the DSP circle using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals. Adhere one of the large leaves to the back of the DSP circle. Finish with one of the wooden hexagons and adhere to the cup using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

What do you think to my In Good Taste Treat Cup?

I hope you like my Stampin’ Up! In Good Taste Treat Cup. These cups are a really nice size for a small gift – something coffee related would be perfect (or maybe hot chocolate later in the year)!
