The background behind Helen Chapman Handmade Crafts involves an interesting and rarely-travelled journey from radiotherapy physics to card making!
Having spent 15 years working in the NHS, most recently as a radiotherapy physicist (!), I decided it was time for a change. Therefore, I decided to move from Essex, back to the Midlands to be closer to my family and pursue a new challenge.
I spent the first three years doing voluntary work and getting some much needed fresh air! Then, in 2017, I started Helen Chapman Handmade Crafts. Initially I was making cards and gifts and selling them at local craft fairs and online. In 2018 I became an Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator which allows me to share my passion for papercraft via workshops and other events. Importantly, I love teaching people the crafting hints and tips that I have gained over time and working with fabulous Stampin’ Up! products.
I aim to deliver a product that you will love, whether that is a handmade card purchased from a craft fair, or a papercraft workshop which allows you to express your creativity and unwind whilst making something beautiful.
